This is one Mother’s Day give that Ingeborg McIntosh will never forget. Diagnosed with poly-cystic kidney disease, she would need a kidney transplant to save her life. What she didn’t know is that her son had already had the hospital test him to find that he was a perfect kidney transplant match for his adoptive mom. McIntosh had adopted Jordan from the foster care system when he was just a baby. “Everything she’s done for me since I was a kid, I just wanted to give it back to her, and show her how much I appreciate her,” Jordan McIntosh said.
The surgery went just as planned and McIntosh is expected to make a full recovery. Jordan hopes that his story will help others to pay it forward. Read the full story here
