Choosing an Adoption Agency in Pennsylvania
The decision to place a child for adoption is really, really difficult. Deciding who to help you with that decision is also really, really difficult.
You may struggle to find someone who will really listen and hear your unique situation. You may want to be assured that you can trust the agency.
We want you to know that Heart to Heart Adoptions is a good place to start. If we don’t have exactly what you need or what feels comfortable to you, we will find a place for you with some of our trusted partners.
Michelle and Wendy take turns answering the phones. They have both been doing this for several years. They know how to help or direct you to some place that will meet your needs.
They’ll listen, not judge. You have the right to ask all the questions you want. You can call as many times as you want and get as many answers as you need.
You’ll then be matched with a caring case manager — Jodi, Ashlyn, Haley, or Kathy — who will stay with you every step of the way.
Heart to Heart Adoptions is Unique
Nearly every one of those working in our agency have had personal experiences with adoption. They are women who have considered adoption and then chose to parent. There are women who have placed a child, and there are women who have adopted. We see all sides of the adoption triad: the birth mother, the adoptee, and the adoptive family.
We have worked with hundreds of birth mothers from across Pennsylvania — including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown, Erie, and Harrisburg.
We care about your concerns, your safety, and your decision.
Here’s what makes us different:
- We Never Pressure You – You can talk to us even if you’re unsure about adoption.
- You Decide Everything – You choose the family, the plan, and the level of contact.
- We Provide Full Support – Housing, food, clothes, medical care, and emotional counseling are all available for free.
Utah Apartments: A Safe Place to Stay
Many women from Pennsylvania have chosen to come to Utah to stay in our comfortable apartments during their pregnancy.
You’ll have your own space, privacy, and safety. And you’ll be close to other women who are walking through the same emotions and questions.
Every week, we plan activities to help you relax — movies, lunch outings, hikes, or holiday events.
Hollie from Allentown said, “I had never been on a plane before I went to Utah. I was scared. Jodi was at the airport and the first thing she did was take me shopping to get my favorite foods into the apartments so I would feel comfortable. When I met Jodi and the other girls in the apartments, I finally felt safe. We went to a park and had food. It was the first time I had laughed in a long time.”
