Each state has its own laws and rules related to adoption. It’s important to understand state laws and work with adoption officials in each state to assure that the adoption is as legal and secure as possible.

Birth mom relinquishment: There are laws governing when a birth mom can relinquish her parental rights and whether that relinquishment can be revoked.
