Help for Birth Mothers in Idaho
You Don’t Have to Go Through This Alone
If you’re pregnant and not sure what to do, take a deep breath. You don’t have to have all the answers today. Whether you choose adoption or just want to learn about your options, Heart to Heart Adoptions will walk beside you — without pressure, without judgment.
When you reach out, Michelle or Wendy will answer your call. They’ll connect you with a local case manager like Jodi, Kathy, Ashlyn, or Haley, who will listen and help you find the support you need.
What Kind of Help Is Available
You deserve care — real, practical, and emotional. Here’s what we offer, completely free of charge:
• Safe Housing –
We can help you stay in your home or provide a place to live.
Some women choose to move into our Utah apartments, where they can relax, heal, and connect with others who understand.
Other birth mothers live within walking distance of these apartments, so there’s always someone nearby to talk with.
• Food and Essentials --
- Groceries, maternity clothes, and personal care items are provided when you need them.
• Transportation –
- Rides to doctor visits, legal appointments, or counseling sessions are arranged for you.
• Emotional Support –
- A licensed counselor and your case manager are available any time, even late at night when the worries won’t stop.
• Community and Activities –
- We plan weekly gatherings for women who are staying in our apartments or nearby.
These include movie nights, lunch out, hikes, or fun local events. During the holidays, we go see lights, concerts, and parades together.
“Brianna from Pocatello came to Utah during her last trimester. She said, ‘The other birth moms became like sisters to me. We’d walk to the park, watch movies, and talk about our babies and our plans. It made everything feel less scary.’”
After You Deliver
Your relationship with us doesn’t end when you give birth. Whether you choose to parent or place your baby for adoption, we’ll continue to help you get back on your feet.
If you make an adoption plan, we’ll help you:
- Arrange contact with the adoptive family (if you want it)
- Receive emotional care and counseling
- Get help transitioning home
Many women tell us that having someone to talk to after placement made all the difference.
We never make decisions for you. You choose what’s best for your baby and yourself. Your case manager will simply walk beside you, explain your options, and make sure you’re treated with dignity and respect.
Our promise: You will always have a voice, and we will always listen.
